Tenancy Application Steps To Follow

If this is your first time renting a property or you are not sure what to do, below are some tips to help you:

• Look through the list of available properties on our rentals page
• Arrange a viewing to have a look through to make sure this is the property you want to apply for
• Click on the tenant application form link to complete your application

You will need the information below to complete your application online:

• Drivers licence or passport of you are not a NZ resident
• Employment details past and present
• References from previous landlords/agencies and employment

Move in costs:

• One week's rent - this pays for your first week
• Bond - four week's rent is paid as a bond and lodged with the Ministry of Business and Innovation 
• Letting fee - this is one week's rent plus gst paid to the business for all the administration work involved in securing you a house

• When you complete your tenant application, select the MOVING HUB option and they will contact you with options for power, gas and internet.
